Gleam Medical Spa
and Dermal Fillers
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the first and only FDA-approved prescription product that temporarily improves the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and moderate to severe crow’s feet in adults.
Unlike a face lift or other kind of invasive facial rejuvenation procedure, treatment takes minutes and requires zero downtime. Using a very fine needle, BOTOX® is injected into the facial muscles that are responsible for wrinkles and fine lines and relaxes the muscles. The ingredients in Botox block the signal from the nerve to the muscle, and therefore reduce it’s ability to contract, and form unsightly wrinkles.
Botox Cosmetic work to reduce the following:
+ Forehead frown lines
+ Wrinkles around the eyes
+ Vertical lines near the lips
+ Lifting the corners of the mouth
+ Reducing tension headaches and migranes
+ Relieving excess sweating (hyperhydrisis).
+ Especially useful for sweating in the palms, soles, face and underarms.
+ Reducing TMJ and the pain of teeth grinding
Botox lasts for about 4 months. Eventually, the body breaks down the protein. Because Botox only effects the muscles that it is injected in, it does not get absorbed into the body.
You can expect a relaxed and smoothed appearance in your face. Done properly, you will still be able to make facial expressions in a natural way.
+ Treatment only takes minutes
+ No downtime or recovery
+ BOTOX® is the number one selling product of it’s kind in the world
Dermal Fillers can be used to:
+ Plump thin lips
+ Enhance shallow contours
+ Soften facial creases and wrinkles
+ Improve the appearance of recessed scars
Dermal fillers can be very helpful in those with early signs of aging, or as a value-added part of facial rejuvenation surgery.
Dermal fillers, are made up of hyaluronic acid a naturally occurring substance already in the body. Fillers do just what their name suggests; they fill in the area under the skin. Although some fillers are natural and others synthetic, they all work to improve the appearance of aging skin; correct facial wrinkles and or for lip augmentation. As one ages, the amount of hyaluronic acid decreases which can make the skin drier and less supple. Some fillers last as little as 6 months while others can last up to 24 months. One reason HA fillers have become so popular is that they are quickly reversible; if the results are not acceptable, the product can be removed by a tiny injection of a substance (hyaluronidase) that will almost immediately dissolve the filler.
