Getting the most out of your glow ups and aesthetic treatments can take some planning. In addition to making the most of the treatments, scheduling treatments at strategic times throughout the year can help you make the most of the seasons.

At Gleam Medical Spa, we’ve distinguished ourselves as Denver’s premier med spa through the quality of care we provide, the customization we put into each client’s treatment plan, the confidence we inspire, and the inclusivity that defines our approach to beauty for everyone.

To further support your journey to glowing results year-round, we’ve put together the ultimate guide to budgeting for medical aesthetics at Gleam Medical Spa.

Questions to Ask Yourself When Budgeting for Medical Aesthetics

A good plan starts with a bit of self-reflection. Taking a moment or two to figure out when, where, and how your aesthetic journey fits into your life and budget can jumpstart your plan for achieving your goals and sustaining your results.

What are my needs & goals?

Help us help you by coming up with a list of your aesthetic priorities going forward. Some questions, like this one, can be easier to answer when you have a few additional questions to guide you. A few questions to help guide you toward clear needs and goals can include:

  • Where do you most want to see improvements?
  • What’s standing in the way of living your most confident life?
  • Which of your favorite features would you like to highlight?

If you’re having trouble coming up with clear and concrete needs and goals, don’t worry about it. Simply schedule your consultation at Gleam Medical Spa, and your aesthetics expert can help you pinpoint some exciting possibilities.

How often will I need to schedule touch-up and maintenance appointments?

This is another question one of our outstanding providers would be happy to help you with, but you’re also welcome to refer to the information on our website’s treatment pages if you’re still preparing to take the first steps of your aesthetics journey.

How often you’ll need to come in for touch-up and maintenance appointments will vary depending on the treatment (i.e. how long will your best results last?). If one treatment’s results, for example, last 2 months, creating a rough outline for when you’ll want to schedule those 6 annual appointments can help inform your plan for budgeting for medical aesthetics. While you’re at it, you might also like to consider which treatments you’ll want to schedule for the month in between.

Will I need to take any downtime?

The amount of downtime you’ll need for a given treatment can also help you figure out the best time to schedule your appointments. Budgeting, after all, is just as much about when as it is how much

And for many of our clients at Gleam Medical Spa, budgeting applies to more than just finances. Downtime can sometimes require you to dip into your PTO. So, it can be a good idea to budget your money as well as your time in advance.

When do I need my results?

Another thing to keep in mind when budgeting for medical aesthetics is when you need your full results to be on full display. Is there a specific time of year you want to show off your glowing results?

Even some of the most effective aesthetic treatments don’t deliver results on the spot or overnight. If, for example, you’re wanting to look your absolute best for the holiday season, you may need to make plans, budget your time, and adjust your aesthetics budget to get those treatment sessions scheduled weeks or months before the big get-together.

Be sure to give your results enough time to fully develop.

What are my monthly must-haves?

Some of our med spa services (e.g. Emsculpt NEO) deliver results that can last for years after completing your recommended course of treatment sessions. But other treatments, like HydraFacials and our custom facials, are more of a monthly treat.

Self-care, by definition, is a matter of consistency. You deserve to take care of your skin and beauty needs, and your regular, ongoing needs deserve careful planning and a consistent budget.

While there will always be special occasions, rainy days, and developing needs that call for a splurge, take some time to consider which treatments make up your regular monthly beauty regimen.

To get the most out of your monthly aesthetic budget, we highly recommend you consider our monthly memberships.

Seasonal Aesthetics

Let the seasons be your guide. While you can certainly get the treatments you want and need at any time throughout the year, certain treatments are most popular during specific seasons (and for good reason).

Fall

As your tan starts to fade and the weather gets chillier and chillier, many people start thinking about getting laser hair removal. One of the reasons behind this is that laser hair removal actually works best when your skin is less tan and there’s more contrast between your hair color and skin tone.

Winter

With cooler temperatures, shorter days, and less time spent outdoors, the winter season can be the most wonderful time of the year for treatments that require you to avoid high temperatures, sweating, and sun exposure immediately after treatment.

Some of these treatments can include Plasma Skin Rejuvenation, chemical peels, and laser skin treatments like ADVATx

Spring

Spring is a great time to start dusting off that summer bod with treatments like Emsculpt NEO. Laser hair removal is also a good choice if you plan on spending time in a swimsuit in a few months’ time.

Summer

Like spring, body sculpting services like Emsculpt NEO are still a big hit come summer time, as slimming down and shaping up is still top of mind.

There’s never a bad season for injectables like Botox and dermal fillers, but summer is often a popular time for these cosmetic treatments. One reason for this is that your results don’t depend on staying out of the sun. Botox Cosmetic can even help prevent your face lines from worsening as a result of excessive squinting due to sunlight.

One last thing to consider when budgeting for medical aesthetics in Denver is, of course, your payment method. At Gleam Medical Spa, we’re proud to offer flexible payment plans with Cherry to qualifying clients.
